Morgxn’s debut album “Vital” arrives on May 18th, it’s a release that we’ve been hotly anticipating since we fell under a spell with the singer-songwriters greatly, emotive style of pop when recently checking out his showcase this March at SXSW. The honed singer-songwriter talent writes from a personal perspective, producing songs and soundscapes which earnestly, embrace vulnerabilities and at the same time are, hugely, powerful. One more taster “me without you“, heads up the “Vital” album release and it’s easily the most personalised and endearing, yet.

Speaking with Out Magazine morgxn explains “It is a song about loving someone so much and not knowing what to do when they’re gone. It’s a song about, searching for ‘home’ when that person is ‘home’ and without them, you don’t know home anymore. And ultimately, it is a song about recognising and saying “I love you” before it is too late to say it anymore. I wrote it for my father.” I think you will agree with me you can’t get more personal than that.

It is already evident when “Vital” arrives it will be an album steeped in soul-searching and heart where the singer puts his, phenomenal vocals at the forefront. Lead in songs “Carry The Weight”, “Translucent” and “Bruised” have weaved, a deep tapestry of emotion, personal growth and introspection sometimes bittersweet, occasionally heartbreaking, and always sincere. The impressive grace with which he carries these thoughts, lyrics and emotive performances are stand out examples of his openness and poise as a musician. Undoubtedly if you haven’t got onto him yet, you need to remedy, this quick smart. As morgxn is among the gifted songwriters who are making are a significant impact in the music industry via his original songs.
