Both Zee Machine and Bentley Robles know how to keep their fans fed. Here is an excellent example of how they put their fans first. The talented pop, singer-songwriters, are all set to kick off their much-anticipated Tears & Gearz tour in the US and Canada next week. The tour begins in New York and includes stops in Toronto, Chicago, San Francisco, and Los Angeles before heading to the UK in May. Moreover, this will mark their first-ever performances in London and Manchester, with EQ Music hosting these two events. (For ticket information, see below). As if that wasn’t exciting enough, the dynamic duo has also collaborated on a new track titled “Anyone But Him,” which they are slated to perform on tour.
The musical collaboration between Zee and Bentley extends beyond the new track. Similarly back in April 2023, they delighted fans with their first lively pop track, “See Me Naked.” The overwhelmingly positive response to this upbeat song led to plans for a joint tour. And now, they have come full circle by releasing their latest single, “Anyone But Him.”
In what is an interesting twist on an emotional love song, the singers are charting new territory. The power pop anthem by Zee and Bentley is their hot take that fearlessly delves into the complexities of open relationships. And furthermore showcases their willingness to address unconventional topics. Despite the mutual agreement on a non-exclusive relationship implied by the song title, a hint of jealousy surfaces regarding a particular individual. Through heartfelt lyrics, they plead with their lover to avoid this person, acknowledging the inevitable hurt they would feel otherwise.
I have no reservations that the Tears & Gearz tour will go down a storm anyway. However, what sounds like a fantastic plan would be adding “Anyone But Him” to the set list as would definitely make the tour even more unforgettable. An icing-on-the-cake style moment, if you will.
