One of the things we already knew was going to be great about SXSW 2017 was that we knew Betty Who was going to be there. It didn’t matter at all if we didn’t discover any new artists this year (which of course, was not the case), the airfare to Austin alone was worth the opportunity to chat to Betty and be up-close and personal in the front row for her performance on the Twix stage at Bangers.
On the first day of the SXSW Music Festival, we got to hang out with Betty pre-show at the StubHub stage to chat about how excited she is about releasing her new album “The Valley”, what she’s learned from her sophomore album, her latest singles “Human Touch” and “Some Kinda Wonderful”, what it’s like being a viral sensation with “Somebody Loves You” and her gleeful anticipation in bringing her Party In The Valley tour to London at EQ Music Live on 17th May.
Tickets for Betty Who at EQ Music Live in London are still available, but going super fast. It will sellout.
Don’t miss her exciting show with emerging electronic pop acts Avec Sans and Lostchild on 17th May.
