They don’t come more fresh faced and talented than newcomer Sarah Close!

This young lady has enthusiasm and a passion for crafting real and immediately relatable pop songs which are marking her out as one to watch. There is also a rather lovely quirky feel to Sarah’s endearing singing and songwriting style. Debut EP “Caught Up” is one that resonates on so many levels, not least in affirming just how accomplished the level headed emerging artist is in everything she does. By the strength of the debut EP alone, Sarah’s just inked with a major label (Parlophone) it certainly felt as though someone should swoop in and sign her up. That this has all happened sooner rather than later speaks volumes of how significantly talented beyond her years the 21-year-old is.

Before Sarah took to the stage recently at the British Summer Time festival, she stopped by backstage for an exclusive chat with us. We were especially pleased she took time to do so because we wanted to talk to Sarah a little more in-depth about her music videos to “Call Me Out” and “Caught Up” as well as what is the best and worst things about being an emerging artist.
