Is there anyone who doesn’t know of Sheppard’s runaway hit “Geronimo”? It certainly launched the Aussie band onto great things when it debuted back in 2014. In fact, success continues to run for more than that sensational single, long player “Bombs Away” scooped heaps of critical acclaim too. When the instant fame hit, it earned Sheppard a ton of ARIA nominations and their winning streak began to ripple its way over to the US where they landed top tour support billing, opening for the likes of Meghan Trainor.

Most recently the storming indie pop band have been on the road in OZ with Justin Bieber and Martin Garrix, whilst, over here in the UK they have been touring with Little Mix. But there was an awesome twist of fortune that has seen the band link up with the Biebz and Martin Garrix again, being added to the line-up at this year’s British Summer Time Festival, no less! This all works in nicely with promoting their new tunes, such as the electronically buzzy “Keep Me Crazy”.

We were on the spot to nab an interview with Sheppard as they brought their vibrant set to London’s Hyde Park and got to ask them about life on the road with Little Mix. And because of the Australian connection, naturally we asked them to pick out their favourite Savage Garden songs and much to our delight they gave us an impromptu performance – megamix style.
