Perhaps a post from us on production duo The Chainsmokers is long overdue!, but by golly Alex and Drew have worked hard to achieve their success. The guys have quite regularly been visitors to the EQ inbox from first noting their extensive remix work for others, to really going for it in establishing, a frenetic sound for themselves. Whilst sometimes, it might have felt that the guys were having a wild old party time in the process, the duo’s latter-day material is really raising the bar on the extent of their craftsmanship.

Additional to this a personable self-written press release from Alex and Drew and the spirit in which it is written, always raises a smile.

This time out the boys have achieved more than stretching a grin from behind the scenes of the inner sanctum of the EQ submissions pile, by springing us into action to share with our thoughts on new single “Don’t Let Me Down”.

In their familiar chipper manner in which they write, Alex and Drew exclaim ‘We are gonna hit you with the cliche of cliche and say this is the best track we have ever made, but for real it feels that way’ On listening it transpires they are so NOT lying!

Hot damn, they have themselves a real booty shaker with “Don’t Let Me Down”. So much to love on this. For starters the wavy beats are going down like gravy. The vocalist they have found in aspiring young turn Daya brings much swaggering hip-pop definition to the track, and oh yeah as Alex and Drew are excited to point out what happens beyond that 3rd drop permits us to let loose a wowzers! It so really does!
