Nico Tortorella is a true artistic talent, recognised moreover for their acting and modelling prowess. Despite being a seasoned performer, Nico’s foray into the music industry was an unexpected turn of events. Spurred by their role of William in the hit Apple TV series “City on Fire” and the news of their impending parenthood. And with an unwavering passion and love for their unborn child. The announcement of the album “Born” and its first single “Grapefruit” caught the attention of many music enthusiasts, including Raj, Founder and Editor-In-Chief of EQ. Raj’s insightful observations about Nico’s ‘Harry Styles‘ way of making queer-friendly pop music that resonates with Gen Z’ are noteworthy. The follow-up single “He Said She Said” further highlights the similarities between Nico and Harry Styles’ music. In particular, the soothing music and dreamy vocals are reminiscent of those used in Harry Styles’ album, “Fine Line.”

Thanks to the inspired production by Nico’s brother Rocco Tortorella. Rocco has made an excellent job of capturing the peaceful essence of “He Said She Said” through the imagery in the music video. The clip especially captures the essence of the bi-ballad. With Nico shown in a contemplative state, taking in the breathtaking beauty of the surroundings. The video creates a sense of calmness and rejuvenation. That thus leaves viewers feeling refreshed and invigorated.
