It is the halfway point for Sweden’s Army of Lovers. The much-beloved group recently began releasing new music again following a decade of hiatus. Week-by-week since October 6th, commencing with the track “Love Is Blue” featuring Olya Polyakova. Army of Lovers is gradually revealing the tracklisted tracks leading to the 24th November release of album “Sexodus“. Therefore, with it being a few weeks into the album promotion. To me, it feels like a good time to check back in again with the band. Delve into another stellar offering from them. The latest track “Bring Your Love.”
First of all. It’s fascinating noticing that each band member was given the opportunity to lead as vocalist in the tracks released so far. Regarding “Bring Your Love“, specifically, Alexander Bard takes on the role of steering the song. What’s noticeable about this track is that it is the most pop-focused one yet. Plus, the resemblance to Alcazar‘s music is a pleasurable added bonus for sure.
The captivating live performance clip I found online for “Bring Your Love” further wowed me as a fan of this bands music. It’s especially, joyful to see how enthusiastic the band are about their arm-o-graphy. It especially adds to this particular live performance. The fact that they recently appeared on this Swedish TV chat show as a music act to promote their new album “Sexodus” is such a testament to them. I believe that their music and performances have the power to captivate and inspire audiences around the world, and I can’t wait to see what Army of Lovers has in store for us next. The next single out is “What’s That Look,” which arrives on Friday 3rd November.
While many people are talking about the countdown to Christmas starting, I’m excitedly counting down the days until Army of Lovers’ new album is available in its entirety. Only 22 more sleeps! until “Sexodus.” It’s great to see the band making a comeback with their amazing music after such a long hiatus. I’m eagerly looking forward to listening to the rest of the album and discovering what other musical surprises they have in store for us.
