Sharing their second new music offering of the year, the electronic-pop trio LOWES return with “Bloodstream,” another banger and sure to be chart success. In the follow-up to the vastly acclaimed track “Game Of Love,” (Hottest Record In The World – BBC Radio 1, together with a sync on ITV2’s Love Island), the band has a lot to live up to. Although mindful that the 2023 festival season is about to be kick-started, and since LOWES is continually upping its game. Both those factors indicate the need for a catchy summery anthem with a dance-pop touch. I am pleased, therefore, to inform EQ Music Blog readers that the new track brings the super serotonin injection we all need.
In the track. The Lancashire-based trio weave between a pulsating bassline and euphoric synth-pop melodies. Producing a dancefloor-ready anthem expertly crafted for festival revelry and dancefloor abandon alike.
Discussing the central meaning behind the newest offering, LOWES says:
“Bloodstream” is about that electric feeling when you hugely fall for someone, and there is all that nervous energy, tension and chaotic emotion flying around”.
Featuring an exceptional, danceable allure. The exhilarating and feel-good beats implore you to loosen up and enjoy the moment. What impresses me by far, the trio wrote and produced the track entirely themselves. Thus, “Bloodstream” demonstrates LOWES ability to transform dance floors into colossal party scenes in a matter of seconds.
The trio have also announced their debut headline tour, to take place this June, across major UK cities. Kicking off at The Lodge (at The Deaf Institute), Manchester on 8th June, LOWES will embark onwards to Bristol, London (at the legendary Camden Assembly on 10th June), Birmingham, Leeds and Newcastle, concluding at SWG3 Poetry Club, Glasgow on 24th June.
