The Royal

The RoyalWhilst it might not always be ground breaking, I can’t really put the hammer of critical analysis in on highly addictive pop. If it possesses the requisites of a good beat and an overall zesty tang of pounding electro, then it pretty much is deal done in the favourable stakes.

LAUNCH “GIRL LIKE THAT” MUSIC VIDEO

Measure of this comes from newly formed Milwaukee electro pop act The Royal who are just cutting through online with some encouraging explosive power pop creations.

Unleashing their ferociously animated, pop rock hybrid sound on “Freaks” the band have let fly a powerhouse of style that rages every colour of get up and dance approval from the American teen pop circle.

About the Author
Raj Rudolph has been a pop music obsessive ever since he heard Madonna's iconic first album. When he couldn't stop playing "Music For The Masses" by Depeche Mode he also knew that electronic music would eventually consume him - and it did. Raj divides his time on EQ Music by blogging about his favorite musicians, quietly spazzing out at gigs and organizing EQ Music's live showcases and tours. Raj is a democratic American liberal but has been living abroad in Europe (mostly London and Barcelona) since July of 2000 and he married an Italian, so don't expect him to go home soon. Raj also works in digital video production, is Director and brand owner of the Poptronik Festival and manages Australian electronic pop duo Parralox and LA based emerging pop musician Ryan Adamés.
