One-by-one former members of successful boy band The Wanted are revealing the next step in their new found solo creative endeavours.
Whilst, fellow band Nathan Sykes has embraced pop with a much different artistic vision to that of his wholly pop-centric days with The Wanted. Jay McGuiness can currently be seen tripping the light fantastic on the Strictly Come Dancing dancefloor, as his part in the popular TV show has revealed the once mopped haired one had a hidden talent, which now has been exposed for ballroom and latin dancing.
No sooner are we adjusting to see Nathan & Jay branch out than another of their The Wanted number, band mate Tom Parker is getting in on the act ready to showcase his new venture which has taken him into the production side of the industry concentrating on DJing and producing.
Since the group disbanded, Tom has taken steps to broaden his horizons by playing sets throughout the UK and Europe. On the low and without fanfare so as to hone his craft in this area.
Confident in his newly mastered abilities Tom is ready to share his first production efforts. A music body of work which amounts to a tropical embellished house mix of CeCe Peniston’s club classic “Finally” with a vocal from an unidentified artist and a second track “Undiscovered” which displays a knowledgeable tailoring of club assisted house of beats.
All three ex-band members are quite definite in going with a complete departure to the pop arena which scored them their initial success, but equally each of these three appear to be headed on a road to something good.
It all begins proper for Tom from here on in, as these track’s serve as our first taster to his work, which he will now be increasingly building upon as he goes forward into next year.
