New-Arcades 1

A double strike of up and coming new talent that we have had on our new music radar join forces to deliver a gleaming synth-pop effort which effervesces with an 80’s retro outlook at its heart.

London based duo New Arcades have been working up their vintage re-created sound in the time since we debuted their pristine upbeat track “Into The Skyline” off of their debut EP release all of 2 years ago. And it is clear to us now, as it was clear to us then that New Arcades are striving forward in directing an impressive embodiment of synth pop revival which more than deservingly requires recognition and support.

To add a new dynamic upon their already well received synth-pop steered back catalogue, New Arcades have invited the assistance of former indie folk artist and newly electro-pop initiated performer Lula to engage her lusciously spellbinding evocative vocals upon the sweeping soundscape that marks a new beginning for project New Arcades on the wondrously polished latest single “More Than This”.

A stellar collaboration formed and which breaks through with mellifluously striking results leaving a somewhat Chvrches like impact in its wake. When it bonds together as seamlessly as “More Than This” does, it engages sheer delight and a ring of blissful enjoyment to the ear.

WIN / WIN!
