Don’t mind us, whilst we shout out two hurrahs, HURRAH!

A justifiable cause for commotion we feel because after a two year hiatus, South African electro-pop force and general all round heart-throb Nic Billington has sprung a surprise new single.

In-between modelling assignments and showing off his latest haircuts to his Facebook massive, Nic has seen fit to have squeezed in some studio recording time in a bid to follow-up his gloriously buzzing 80’s styled debut album “Overload”.

There’s no intention of shifting parameters, Nic is sticking by what he knows works for him and actually for once we’re rather glad all over that this is the case. “Overload” was one of the best examples of unadulterated electro pop fierceness when it debuted in 2013 and boy it’s been a hard one to match, going off in this direction at least.

Pure pop abandonment rules the day once again for Nic’s heavily dance-pop influenced new single “City Boy” where he sings of shedding the “City Boy” image and urges us to look deeper past first impression and into his personality rather than just observing and making assumptions at face value.

In our answer to this. If Nic will keep posting buff modelling pics everywhere on his social media, you’ve fuelled the fire! but forgive us if we appear shallow we’re only human after all. Although we’d like to think we’ll get the true sense of Nic Billington coming through to build a bigger picture of who you are, with the release of even more new music, coming soon maybe! Please!
