Pet Shop Boys have just unveiled their brand new music video for “Thursday” which features quite and intelligent rap and appearance by none other than the UK’s finest – Example.
Set against a smart Shanghai landscape complete with bustling everyday occurrence in nightlife, “Thursday” is another triumphant artistic achievement for Pet Shop Boys. Often hailed as the best song from “Electric”, “Thursday” is one tune that will most likely be on repeat for you after watching the music video.
And who doesn’t like a good “so what” deadpan vocal from Chris Lowe. I live for this shit.
It may only be Tuesday today, but “Thursday” will make you look forward to calling in a sickie to work on Friday.
“Thursday” will be released on CD and digital bundle with a 12″ to follow, and will be accompanied by remixes by Tensnake, Eddie Amador, and two brand new Pet Shop Boys songs. Eek!
