Fleur East

Fleur East didn’t win last years X Factor UK but in most peoples hearts she did! The anticipation for Fleur’s solo material to begin surfacing has been right up there on the hot tip end of the thermometer, for many a month now. When Fleur fittingly premiered her debut dance-pop bop during this year’s X Factor UK competition, quite frankly Fleur’s top end live performance was enough to send this year’s showing of hopeful’s reaching for their suitcases and packing for home, as Fleur totally blew the pop game out of the water.

I’m not someone who massively tunes into X Factor coverage week–on-week but I do apply some interest into gaining knowledge of what is going on in the competition by digesting a fair amount of social media feedback. Even I cannot, deny that Fleur is probably the most bone fide solo popstar in-the-making that has more potential longetivity than most previous solo winners / hopefuls put together.

Yes, I like Fleur, she’s sassy and to my mind just what pop needs right now. If any newly emerging female artist might be out to tear up the rule book, I say Fleur is the one mostly to do it. Boy am I hanging my hopes on this statement to become truth!

If the groovelicious “Sax” didn’t already give me enough of the C+C Music Factory vibes the newly released promo video has only added to more dance funk weight to this assumption. Hurrah as befits Fleur’s dynamic persona the video is pumped to the max of eye popping colour! Infact, there’s more rainbow hues to be found in this CGI shot footage than you’d care to find in a skittles candy factory.

Observe the rainbow!
