Voyeur 1

Hark, hark, do we hear another newbie Scandinavian pop ensemble in our midst piquing our interest with their synthtastic and flawless pop presence? We sure do!

From Norway we are introduced to the burgeoning pop project of Voyeur and boy do they bring that shimmery glacial air of Scandinavia fully streaming through on their musical wares.

Check the forthcoming single “I Don’t Want To Open My Eyes” as confirmation of their electro pop mastery.

Fronted as a duo of Ingrid Berg Mehus who brings her vocals and violin skills into play accompanied by her musicial partner of many years standing Bjørnar Hopland behind the electronic elements and the silent off-stage member Tony Modebe as lyricist.

Voyeur comprehensively channels all member strengths into their exhilaratingly twinkling, glitter pop flowing compositions.

I Don’t Want To Open My Eyes” tails a Celtic feel through its violin orchestrated sections that when threaded through with weaving ribbons of synths bring to mind the pristine crystalline style of Enya – a combination that wins in my eyes.

To accompany the contemplative lyrics, the film footage plunges into the introspective video depths, through a bucket.

I will leave you with that and to enjoy the video.
