Jessica Sutta

Lolly, lolly disco dolly or rather this is how our eyes last met upon former Pussycat Doll turned solo artiste Jessica Sutta, albeit she’s now doing away with the formalities and asking to be referred to just as J Sutta!

The rumblings of the pop babe’s debut long player, formerly noted as once to be titled, “Feline Resurrection” (now in the process of being re-named) have long since been brewing in hot anticipation, which have grown out of a clutch of single releases “Again”, “Lights Out”, “Candy” and “Feline Resurrection”, each of which are strongly gravitated towards the dance pop direction.

We understand that the album is to be out the gate for REAL in the next couple of months though, and as this news feeds through, J Sutta, the liberated emerging pop diva is only leading us further into the arrival by going in for another poptastic cut of electro elevated dance bangerdom.

Actually, though the bangs are somewhat more subtlety given on “Forever”, the feels on this are firmly rising on up on the popcentric side.

Even though she’s left the full might of the dancefloor behind on the overall feel of this track Jessica, isn’t straying away from the pull of neon lights and all things that are atypical disco dance-pop dazzling. No, she’s taken it to the letter in the light-show infused visual.

Jessica’s growth as a solo artiste plays out loudest and clearest on “Forever” though than any of her previous efforts. Indeed the message through “Forever” is that of reaching the point of a euphoric high and not wishing it to end. Which I guess in working up through the album process Jessica has gone through realising many a disco moment.

As we watch through the boldly bright video promo though, there’s a break-out from the club scenario where we catch a glimpse of the singer embracing a walk on the wide side out in a forest setting. She’s donned in the outfit suitable of a warrior princess too.

What does this all mean? Surely this is visual indication enough, that Jessica’s matured out of her early kitty-cat-hood, re-merging now like a pop butterfly all fresh and new and feline power resurrected. By highlighting this transition it further gives the impression she’s more than ready to give us what we’ve all been waiting out for. And for that matter of fact, what she’s been working so hard at to give us…her debut album.
