Little known fact for you EQs: I really, really love bass music. So let me rant and rave about the new EP, ‘Triangular Objects,’ by LA producer ChrisB for a hot second, because quite frankly I’m obsessed with it.
I think what I love about it most is that it strikes the perfect balance of ambient electronic music and brash, booming bass, which I think is lost with a lot of more mainstream dubstep/bass music. I don’t know about the rest of you, but when I listen to bass music I like the bass to be so aggressive and big that listening to it feels like it may be bad for my health. Thankfully this EP delivers exactly what I’m looking for (and for the record, I’m fairly certain your health will not be negatively affected). If you’re looking for something akin to the recycled garbage that Skrillex keeps pumping out then look elsewhere, because ChrisB is serving up a prime slice of real bass music with this new EP.
