Say hello to Cassette Electrik. I keep getting emails about them from all-sorts and I have to say that I am really fond of their remake of the Erasure classic "A Little Respect" which has been on the EQ Chart for quite awhile now. Very soon, the "electro with soul" twosome will also be releasing their new single "The Smartest Bomb" which is rather electrolicious – my ears always tweak up a little bit whenever it randomly takes over my iPod.
Their debut album "Electromagnetic" is now available on iTunes and you can get your fill for all things Cassette Electrik over on their MySpace page now! We’ll be watching them closely as they have already opened for the legendary Human League and are doing some shows out and about in Londontown. If you fancy checking them out tomorrow, they will be doing a gig at Blow Up on Oxford Street!
