Ok just finished the video and it's quite obvious that Lady Gaga has been watching quite a few episodes of Battlestar Galactica – that's the biggest vibe I'm getting from this video. I'm a huge Battlestar Galactica fan too so I think this comparision is quite good. There is also a slight "Bedtime Story" by Madonna imagery here, but hardly enough to call it a rip-off.
I think the skull scenes are quite interesting now that I've rewatched it. It's impying that at the end of the day, we are all just flesh and blood, skin and bones, hair and fiber – no matter what gender or sexual orientaiton we are born into.
I like the video – it's kinda exactly what I was expecting. Freakalicious and lots of goo.
