I am mindful that I haven’t been shining a light on production outfits in a while. After digging in for my first listen to the track “You Love,” I couldn’t wait to make you all aware of this euphoric electro-pop release from American, Australian DJ/writer/production duo RIP Youth.
I don’t know about you, but I feel like my soul is crying out for polished production pieces at the moment. Don’t get me wrong it isn’t that I am tired of all the lovely livestream gigs from home, artists are entertaining us with. I guess I’m feeling hungry as the next music fan is (and musician for that matter.) To be able to experience a big show and drink in that special atmosphere, that you only get from being part of an audience/crowd again. All I know is, I was left feeling pumped and exhilarated after listening to RIP Youth’s debut offering. It’s a feeling that I haven’t experienced in weeks, and it seemed all the more uplifting because of the sun which came streaming in through my window, lighting up my living room with its warm golden hues.
RIP Youth are no strangers to the music industry they’ve penned a plethora of hits for quite a few other artists. They just felt the time was right to embark on their own artist project. Being used to collaborating with a team of like-minded individuals, they’ve enlisted Australian DJ sensations Bombs Away and the successful Australian singer Reigan to feature on this release. Some might say, all we need is showing and feeling the love right now. There is plenty of it stemming from this irresistible, dance track. With a production style akin to that of Cash Cash and vocals which exhibit similarity with Jess Glynne. The future path looks set for RIP Youth to conquer dancefloors worldwide.
