Neil Tennant and Chris Lowe, better known to us as the Pet Shop Boys are at it again, and by that we mean they’ve teamed up in collaboration with producer Stuart Price to bring us the next chapter in their history, via forthcoming new album titled “Super”.

There is all manner of excitement brewing around this release not least because next month marks the 30th year anniversary of the electronic pop icons “Please” debut album release. Also they have reason enough to celebrate the occasion by running a four part documentary series encompassing insight into all of the Pet Shop Boys work through the three decade span, which is to be broadcast on Radio 2 – so hardcore fans jot that date down in your diaries and get prepared to get your geek on.

Better still hardcore types, lose your nut to the “The Pop Kids”, it’s Neil, Chris and Stuart channeling 90’s house into the signature PSB styling.

As much as I’d quite like for team PSB to forward over one of their epic digital concept video’s with Neil and Chris voguing along to this I think it’s a highly unlikely occurrence, owing not only to their status of cool but also as “The Pop Kids” is served as the instant download when pre-ordering the new album “Super”.

Instead we’ve been sent over a trippy lyric video which is making our eyes hurt a little a bit. If you’ve got a headache like we’ve had all day, you’d be best just to listen and look away!

All this PSB news galore, we almost forgot to let you know about the 4 night residency at The Royal Opera House in July. Oooo how proper posh are PSB celebrating! We wonder if we should spruce up our best cocktail frock for a dry cleaning in readiness of when our pre-ordered “Super” CD arrives on our doormat.
