Puro Instinct

I spoke to the universe and asked them to bring me new music with a touch of summer seeping from its very being. I must have asked very nicely because my music prayers have been answered in the form of “Tell Me” by Puro Instinct.

The duo made up of L.A native sisters Piper and Skylar Kaplan, have actually brought out summer on a pop platter of dreamy electronic hues too, latin sunkissed a touch in throwback definition of Madonna’s ‘La Isla Bonita’ perhaps.

On the face of it a sultry pop morsel, all gleaming with beach-side character. Falling deeper into it, perhaps a shade darker, observing the surreal undertones thrown up of the Hollywood lifestyle, in amongst which they’ve grown up.

Making sense of all the outlandish displays of glitz and wealth, yet ultimately, it doesn’t matter how much dollar you have to your name, you might try but you can’t put a price on true love, especially in LA!

A theme which the dream spun “Tell Me” superbly explores to an intoxicatingly sensual level of musicality in all strengths.

The single heads up the bands sophomore album titled “Autodrama” and whilst, acting as a lead-in “Tell Me” rightly ignites a burn of addictingly served obsession. Especially so, if there might be some more of these blissfully, divine sonic pop gems housed upon it.
