I'll be the first to admit that I have been terribly out of the loop since I left London in June. However, when Queen of Hearts drops a new track, I perk right back up and pay attention. While this new track is a cover, it's not exception to the rule (I call it the Queen of Hearts Rule).

This new track is an electronica cover of Only Love, originally by Ben Howard. It's a price piece of dreamy synth pop that sounds like it was plucked right off her last EP "Neon/Tears in the Rain." Speaking of EPs, Queenie has announced that she will be releasing a new EP in September! 2012 truly is shaping up to be the year of the Queen. Although we did see Queen Liz jump out of a helicopter at the Olympic opening ceremony, so our electro-Queen may have to up her game a bit.
