Sometimes a song just hits you around the chops with a most joyous feeling, all synth shiny and fuelled by the plump euphoric beats which go into making a dizzyingly frenetic anthem.

This is a statement which fittingly adheres itself to the melodic songs of TeamMate, a duo out of the music hub in LA with an interesting history behind them.

The story being, band members Scott Simmons and Dani Buncher were once in a relationship together, up until Dani courageously came out of the closet. Rather than completely dissolve all the pairing had formed together, they reached a new level of understanding of one another and to a greater end began expressing their experiences into verse and song. Thus, moving on beyond the once romantic bond, Simmons and Buncher now co-exist with a great fondness and respect of each other as TeamMate.

In a not so less important nutshell, the music duo’s story is directly conveyed as the theme of their quite splendid new single “Nothing’s Ever Over”.

The track more than cements a wildly euphoric release which presents itself when the floodgates of synth-pop melody give all matter of rousing fanfare.

Nothing’s Ever Over” is in some way a therapy of the healing kind that sounds shiny pop new and very excellent too!
