Chvrches

We have had movie soundtrack contributions along the way for Hunger Games “Mockingjay” and “Drive”. Hallelu the first of new Chvrches is in! The buzz had been dutifully set in place for a few days, all leading up to spark off the imminent arrival of news of both a new single and announcement of the sophomore album follow-up to “The Bones Of What You Believe”. It all kicked off in style as the band switched up to serving the info in Artwork: Dates: 25th September. Album Title: “Every Open Eye”. Single Title “Leave A Trace”. After all of this, Iain, Lauren and Martin couldn’t keep us hanging for the single drop so it’s scooped up its worldwide premieres within hours and is out there in place as an instant grat track on the album pre-order.

On “Leave A TraceLauren reveals a little more bite cast into her vocal delivery acting upon the defiant character of the singles lyrics which reveal themselves served with more intensity, signifying their growth as a band both in strength of songwriting, musicianship and performance.

For all the strengthened tweaks in place, there is no denying that when the synths strike up this output is adherently definable as being Chvrches power assisted glistening synth-pop!

Leave A Trace” is what you’d call an absolute firecracker to be perfectly honest! Undoubtedly with this, the Chvrches fandom inclusive of myself are joined in overwhelming hyper mode at the twisted pop, feisty spirit of it all.
