Hello EQs! I just wanted to take a break from talking about summer songs for a little bit and share with you a seriously, beautiful new track recently sent to me. It’s called “Found My Person,” and is written and performed by the talented Scottish singer-songwriter Blair Davie. Levelling with you, I hadn’t heard much of Blair Davie before, but I have nevertheless, quickly learned that they’re an artist who’s impressively starting to make a name for themselves. In that, they’ve already toured with a bunch of big names, like JP Cooper, Emeli Sande, and Fatherson, and they just wrapped up supporting Sam Fischer on tour.
Upon checking them out, Blair seems to be gaining popularity and garnering fans from all sides. At first, I wasn’t particularly interested in their music style, but when I listened to “Found My Person,” it spoke to me on a deep level. In fact, I found the the raw and authentic lyrics very moving, and the blend of guitars and synths in the euphoric alt-pop style caught my attention.

Blair Davie is both utterly listenable and relevant. And I have fallen charmed by their soft pop stylings. The earnest narratives, lush and soothing soundscapes are utterly irresistible. Once you’ve had a taste, you’ll find yourself luxuriating in them without even realizing it. Blair Davie is definitely someone to keep an ear out for!
