Sizzy Rocket

When Sizzy Rocket bounded out recently debuting with the bodacious electro-pop bracing single “Bestie”, the rising pop starlet gave us a clear insight into her larger-than-life character styled in a clash of bubblegum, kitsch and hues of lycra.

Since going out all guns on the fizzingly bi-curious impact single, Sizzy strives forward in inching towards her debut album “Thrills” (to be released next spring) with a further BabyDaddy co-write / produced, lead-in single “Bad Kids”.

It seems that BabyDaddy has got the cut of measure to present Sizzy’s top asset of raw vibrant energy in a pop glowing dynamic which is fizzing with sparkle and verve whilst, at the same time drawing some leverage to dance pop beat, in this instance.

Beneath the giddy rainbow of glistening synths, the lyrical narrative actually tackles a darker tone of content pertaining to teenage hi-jinx, figuring out who you are and being a little die-hard, gung ho attitude about it.

Let’s face it, all this riotous outlook befits the outlandishly zany Sizzy Rocket image. Yet the modern pop edge on “Bad Kids” comes pulsating through considerably with some slight hint of tay tay panache.

Since the first turbulently fierce efforts surfaced online a few years ago, to solidifying her songwriting reputation working with Diplo and DJ Khalil. It now feels very much like Sizzy is getting her act properly together. “Bad Kids” is at the beginning of it and to my mind delivers Sizzy’s best stab at a marketable pop song yet.
