As the release of the Stockholm based electro-poppers debut album inches ever forward, and prior to returning to the live circuit with appearances at SXSW and “The Great Escape”, there’s time enough to follow-up on last year’s single releases of “Self Control” and “Open Fire” with a further insight into the album, rolling out via new track “Higher”.
Kate Boy cannot be credited for being anything but consistent in the execution of their particular distinctively imposing bass driven signature sound, as champions of sonic layering and electronic percussion effects Kate Boy certainly prove they are.
On the premise of the above, we’d quite expect that “Higher” will be as equally well received as the previous efforts, along with further expectedly stirring up positive crowd reaction when it imminently showcases live.
