Lady Gaga has now become the first artist since the invention of monitored airplay to have four #1 hits from a debut album. With “Paparazzi” going to number on Billboard, it follows “Just Dance”, “Poker Face”, and “LoveGame” to become the fourth chart-topping single from her massively successful album “The Fame”.
Can you believe Lady Gaga has sold over four million copies worldwide and the singles alone from the album have sold over 25 million copies! Someone is keeping the single market alive and viable aren’t they?!
Flavour of the month? I don’t think so…I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again – she is well on her way to being the new Madonna and I think I can live in a world where both of them exist simultaneously.
