Amidst their current hectic performance schedule, Scottish synth pop trio Chvrches deploy a new cyclonic shimmery pop wonder ahead of their much-anticipated September releasing debut album.
Throughout their meteoric rise to prominence the Glaswegian tunesmiths have impressed with their delivery of explosively unabashed pop arrangements that practically drill their electro pop gas into a soaring mass of rhythmically propelling layering.
Newly unveiled single “Gun” is subtly different in that the usually heavily pounding bass structure is to an extent tailored back somewhat, allowing the accentuation of a glistening topline and Lauren’s fresh-faced vocals to shimmy their rounds of synthy majestic melody to their fullest.
What does remain though, is that Chvrches are certainly a top choice of new breed synth pop pioneers to keep the genre in vogue today, in its purest form.
