#17: "Born This Way" by Lady Gaga
You know, at first listen I wasn't really impressed with "Born This Way" by Lady Gaga as an album, but with Lady Gaga's empowering conviction, she was able to turn a lot of songs I normally wouldn't like into hit singles that stick inside your head for days. Whilst the title track, "Judas", "You And I" were'nt exactly my favorite songs on the album, it was other tracks like "The Edge Of Glory", "Hair", "Government Hooker" and my favorite track "Marry The Night" that tied this album into a cohesive work of art. Over the top and overhyped – yes a little bit, but otherwise when you strip back some of the production, the songs at heart are still out-of-this-world.
