Glorious Inc. are a product of Sweden. A duo comprising of
Tommy and Veronika, both of whom have had extensive credits to their names,
each as solo artists and back up vocalists for the likes of Dr. Alban and
Haddaway amongst many.
Poptronik Festival goers really don’t need the introduction
as they’ve already witnessed their zingy electro pop first hand at the Sitges
festival, but for the larger readership of EQ…well, a little homework of
all things Glorious Inc. needs to be undertaken!
Story begins with “Dance or Die”, the high-energy number
that launched the band last summer.
Without real promotion and purely by word of mouth, the fans took the
song from obscurity all the way to igniting the Swedish dance chart, where it
peaked at No 4 and went on to stay in the upper reaches of the chart for many
weeks more.
Striking hard on the follow-up with ballsy electro dance pop
heat, the band slather on the k-pop charm on “All Over You” as the duo swooped
in fiesty Dinah Nah of Swedish hit making dance pop band Caramell, on rap
duties.
…and so to the future, the not so distant future! We can slip
you a swift tease of forthcoming
release No 3. – neon glowing and bass bubbling fierceness “I Wanna Dance”. Glow
sticks at the ready for the October release on this.
