It’s been quite some time since we last had the pleasure of introducing a promising new artist signed to Martin Kierszenbaum‘s renowned Cherrytree Records label. The latest addition to the Cherrytree roster is markedly different from the artists that were previously championed, in the label’s infancy. And yet equally captivating. Label founder and CEO Martin Kierszenbaum was immediately drawn to the exceptional talent of Giordana Angi. (A multilingual singer, songwriter, and producer with a rich cultural background, raised in both France and Italy.) Giordana has not only established herself as a captivating artist. She is also as a prolific songwriter, making significant contributions to the vibrant Italian music scene.

Giordana’s debut English spoken release on Cherrytree Records, “Take Us Home” is a captivating blend of pop sound co-written and produced by Martin Kierszenbaum. The track exudes a nostalgic vibe reminiscent of the late nineties and early noughties, bringing forth a groovy atmosphere. The music video’s bold, block colours seamlessly complement the retro wave that Giordana and Martin have skillfully captured and brought to life with this release.

The latest release from Giordana showcases a classic pop music style that seamlessly intertwines with her commanding vocals. This furthermore creates a compelling contrast to the jazz-influenced tracks that initially propelled her to stardom in the Italian music landscape. Since the successful launch of her debut international EP, “Giordana,” available in English, Italian, French, and Spanish versions, she has set her sights on expanding her influence across various European music markets. With her unwavering determination and musical prowess, Giordana is steadily progressing towards realising her ambitious goals.

Exciting announcement. Beginning this May, Giordana will open up for 17-GRAMMY award winner Sting on his new Sting 3.0 power trio tour. Visiting Croatia, Slovenia, Hungary, Slovakia Czech Republic and Poland. Lithuania, Estonia, Greece and Germany. The tour winds up in August in France and Italy.
