Darren Hayes show last night at London’s Royal Albert Hall was nothing short of incredible.  Darren described the experience this morning in a message to his fans as a "career defining moment" based upon a dream he had to perform at the majestic venue.

Never before have I seen Darren put so much of himself into a performance…and I’ve been to a few of them to say the least 😉  Here is what Darren had to say this morning about his impressive gig last night:

"The performance at The Royal Albert Hall was momentous. For many reasons.  Because it is a prestigious and esteemed venue.  Because it was a dream of mine that I literally plucked out of the sky 2 years ago and it became a reality.

As I was singing, all I could think of was that my voice was travelling up into the sky that was built by Queen Victoria for Albert.. that my voice was resting where great voices had once touched. That I was a boy from Brisbane and I’d done something with my life."

Arjan from Arjan Writes was in attendance as well and it was really nice to catch up with him before the time machine took off as his blog is such a big inspiration to me – look out for Arjan’s review of the show tomorrow!  It was also wonderful for me to finally meet Mandy who has been a long time loyal reader of EQ!  Hugs Mandy!

Thanks to Team Darren for creating such a special night for the fans who came from as far as New York, The Netherlands, Italy and even Portugal to see your show last night in London.

Raj 🙂
