There were two amazingly beautiful female vocal tracks that landed in my inbox today and this is one of them.
Take a listen to Polly Scattergood’s newest track called “Disco Damaged Kid” which chronicles somewhat of a re-invention for the songstress who has recently been taken under the wings of Mute Records.
“Disco Damaged Kid” has that Robyn slash Sally Shapiro sort of feel that reaches into your soul’s burnt out candlewick and ignites it with an unexpected spark that erupts into a raging Phoenix from the flames by the time you reach the three minute mark.
This is pretty much electronic pop perfection if you ask me.
