Well if L.A. duo Fabriq were truly plumping for a sound that channels a lot of Jamiroquai about it, they’ve achieved their goal with debut single “Electric Flow”.

It’s not only apparent in the funky grooves, the whole similarity in likeness, falls right out of their mouths in a froth of acid jazz and soul funk, smokiness.

As it turns out “Electric Flow” actually is a real pleasurable little diddy and showcases a creditable degree of potential from these newcomers.

This is music you can comfortably dance to without the fear of getting sucked into the whole dancefloor EDM bangergeddon taking hold.

Be interesting to see how the duo’s sound will develop from here.
