I fell in synth-pop love with Swiss Lips in an absolute split-second instant and so have keenly seen through support in all their endeavours right from the beginning to what is now regretfully announced to be the very end.

You heard right folks, Swiss Lips have called time on their project together as a band. In all honesty it stings with complete and utter sadness really, after being totally valiant in their fight to regain control of their music and push forward under their own esteem it has come to the point that it’s just not viable to continue as Swiss Lips any longer. The clutches of ‘Major label syndrome’ were too greater force and have seen them off! HUMMMMPPPPFFFFTTTT!

Some bittersweet kind of justice for a band who turned out some of the most popfectious synth-pop tunes around time and time again over the past few years. It’s just terrifically sad times but even the more dispiriting that it is in no way an isolated case.
