"Wolfette"

When a pop video starts with the words ‘WARNING – Contains flashing images’, you know it’s going to be good. Wolfette has impressed EQ before with her previous releases “Vanilla” and “Waiting For The Explosion”, and she wowed us with her live show at an EQ Sunday School gig earlier in the year.

She’s now back with a new song, “Different Story”, and it comes with her first proper music video, too. We had a chat with Wolfette to find out what the video’s all about, and what she’s got for us to enjoy in the future. Read on for all the latest from Wolfette, and don’t forget to check out her brand new video for “Different Story” below.

Hey, Wolfette. How’s life?
Yeah, really good thanks! Lots of exciting things going on. I’m enjoying the summer and “Different Story” is being received really well which is great.

“Different Story” is not a happy song. What’s the story behind it?
It’s about that spark of hope in a dying relationship – remembering why you loved each other in the first place and realising how much you would miss each other if you broke up. It’s about giving things one last try.

The video – your first – is just as impressive as the track. Is this a sign that even bigger things are on the way?
Thank you! I’m really happy with the response it’s been getting. This is definitely the start of a new chapter – I’m hoping that “Different Story”, along with the video, will help me reach a wider audience.
