Has Steve Grand opened the floodgates for tastefully done pop/rock music videos with a gay male lead singer? I think so. And I like it.

Last night Eli Lieb did something very similar to Steve Grand. He uploaded his fantastic new video for “Young Love” and it went somewhat viral overnight with over 23K views. No press campaign, no bloggers writing about it, no overall obvious strategy. Just honest-to-goodness good music with an relatable music video that resonates to one of the music industries most loyal demographics. It may not be gay country music, but it’s fucking good.

Eli Lieb isn’t no shot in the dark, flash in the pan singer/songwriter either. He caught the attention of EQ Music quite awhile ago with his wonderful track and video for “Place Of Paradise”.
