Seriously, over her last few releases and disc winning “I Love It” collaboration with Icona Pop, pop’s plucky unconventional siren has channelled her feral spirit into some masterstrokes of pop ammunition.
Consider me shot through the heart with her lipstick bullets, Marina hair and Gold Panda sampling brought to us on “You (Ha Ha Ha)”. Everything about this makes me wanna re-boot back to the cool kid I never was, throw caution to the wind and go Ninja in some trendsetting Charli XCX clobber.
Stack me some platforms and some hair lacquer, girl group hang-out at the grindhouse at high noon. Lip liners, gloss and crayons at the ready.
