We should follow up on Shura’s luxuriant pop debut of “Touch” that’s what we should do, as it now comes with the fresh inclusion of some animation upon the track in the form of video capture that has been directed and edited by Shura herself.
Previously we noted “Touch” to be “a Shangri la of luxuriously opulent soundscapes within an expanse of warming tones and whispery R’n’B topped vocals”. We also likened it to BANKS drawing upon the electronic temperament of Massive Attack.
Our initial thoughts haven’t altered in the slightest, on the contrary, although of an unassuming nature “Touch” remains effectively far reaching by its all consuming voluptuously hedonistic ambience.
Serving as suitor to this rippling chillwave creation, the video focuses in on Shura sparking off a chain reaction within her group of touchy-feely friends encouraging them to indulge in the intimate act of……S.N.O.G.G.I.N.G., delivered in slo-mo for that even more heightened cusp of lingering impassioned anticipation.
Majorly erotic while keeping all their clothes on, which let’s face it, that’s kind of a unique thing in this day and age really for a pop music video isn’t it!
