Essex lass Anne-Marie is attracting a fair amount of attention on the music radar at the moment and its all kind of happened in-part because Ed Sheeran tweeted out a link to her electro fused tune “Summer Girl”.
First things first, guaranteed instant win with a bit of a borrow of Spillers “Groovejet” on anything! However, especially so when you’ve pimped it up with your own blinging essex hip-pop energy and effervescent character.
Whilst Anne-Marie might be a little optimistic that summer might actually arrive in mine and hers neck of the woods in the East Of England, I’ve no doubt that her cheery, groove stealing urban pop collision is just what we need to oust those rain clouds away.
Anne-Marie makes for an exciting pop prospect don’t we think, and one that knows how to keep us pop happy come rain or shine, if “Summer Girl” is a guide to go by.
