It’s finally here! Check out the official video for “Silent Morning” by EQ Music artists Parralox and Ryan Adamés.

The video yesterday made it’s official debut on the prestigious EDM news site Elektro Magazine and was quickly picked up by world famous pop music aficionado Arjan Writes and we couldn’t be any more happier with the response it’s received in less than 24 hours.

We shot the video for “Silent Morning” in March during the 2013 Winter Music Conference in Miami in which John and Ryan were selected to speak at the conference at the first-ever “Living For This” panel recognising the issues faced by LGBT artists in EDM. The menswear clothing you see in the video was also sponsored by emerging men’s fashion label Cubik Cloth who let the boys have fun with their casual and trendy garmets made in Australia.

“Silent Morning” is the first official EQ Music release as a new music brand dedicated to shining a light on some of the most amazing new pop music sitting beside the commercial Top 40. Expect our next release to be out in August with the “This Beat Is Poptronik Volume Two” compilation under new label.

“Silent Morning” pays homeage to the freestyle music genre which was massively popular in the late 80s and early 90s. EQ Music believes this moment in time was of great significance to pop music and actually was one of the earliest forms of EDM outside disco! The track was originally a Top 40 hit for iconic freestyle singer Noel and is often referred to as one of the most defining freestyle tracks of all time, alongside “Let The Music Play” by Shannon, “Hooked On You” by Sweet Sensation, “Come Go With Me” by Expose and “Bad Of The Heart” by George Lamond. It’s pretty safe to say that the freestyle influence will be very much affluent in quite a bit of what we do here at EQ Music.

What’s next? Well, Parralox are gearing up for the release of their BRAND NEW concept album called “Recovery” due out this fall with another album of new original material to be released by the end of the year. Their next single is called “Crying On The Dancefloor” which you can preview on the lookbook for popular womenswear fashion brand, Torrid.

Ryan Adamés has a new taster track coming out very shortly too which is a stripped back cover song highlighting his voice and look with a brand new music video being shot as you read this.
