She has so many accolades under her belt but Bebe Rexha isn’t slowing down. The two-timed GRAMMY-nominated singer-songwriter is gearing up for the release of her sophomore album and seems to be having the best time, teasing us with new tracks. Bebe’s latest offering “Sacrifice,” see’s her taking the reigns on full-on pop vibes once more. It is very cool to see her shine brighter than ever at this time. We can’t go dancing at the club just yet, but “Sacrifice” is the ball of energy we need to help us keep pushing through the daily grind.
Bebe’s powerhouse vocals get a workout on this track. From light to dark, to soft and skyscraper soaring dynamics, every twist and turn is incredibly seamless.
Speaking about the upcoming sophomore album Bebe shared.
“I wrote, recorded, re-wrote, re-recorded and then repeated that process in order to deliver an album that truly reflects who I am as a singer, songwriter and most importantly as an artist. I want to give listeners a journey of pop paradise fused with elements of rock and hip-hop. It’s important to me that my music continues to recognize ongoing themes of vulnerability, the cycle of self-destruction & self-realization, and female empowerment.”
The epic music video for “Sacrifice” covers all of the themes mentioned above. The clip features the singer as a sexy vampire, who rampages around a hospital in search of fresh blood and kicks. Strangely enough, she finds both and also snags herself a devilishly handsome Dr vampire. She delights in toying with like a puppy. With “Sacrifice” Bebe is giving me everything I want and more in a dance-pop track. The collaboration with BURNS, Pablo Bowman and Peter Rycroft fashions a crossover track that is fresh, modern, addictive, and best devoured in one sitting. I’d happily have a second or third helping of this pop banger. Take a bite of “Sacrifice,” relish the exhilarating feelings, loosen up and enjoy the moment.
