I don’t think anyone could make a song about their fast food lunch sound so delightful without being cartoon-pop than what is achieved here with this first offering by electro-pop newcomer Patchy.
Food on the go takes on the sweetest buzzing sounds, as the amassed synthy sparkles form a glaze of frothy electro pop bubbles that burst with cuteness and dainty grace.
Patchy offers, wholesome, organic sustenance that is equally delivered also by her naturally calming Imogen Heap like hazy vocals to illuminate a whimsical take on daily life.
This “Picnic” is absolutely enchanting, therefore, we assume Patchy scoffed take-out from Wagamama rather than a Mackie D’s Happy Meal.
From Patchy’s forthcoming album “Illuminations” that is scheduled to arrive this summer.
