What better time to take a look at the “Nerves of Steel” music video, the latest single from Erasure when the cherished synth-pop duo are riding high in the charts once more, with their eighteenth album “The Neon.” The release (the single is lifted from) has charted at #4 on the Official album chart this week. Making it, quite the unexpected surprise hit of the summer for Vince and Andy. The exciting news doesn’t stop there. A UK and European “The Neon” tour for 2021 has also been announced with tickets going on general sale Friday 4th September. (You’ll find everything you need to know about it HERE.)

Being as there is a long time to wait to go see Vince and Andy on these dates (which have been pencilled in for October 2021.) The duo will keep their fans fed in the interim, linking up with BBC Radio 2. Where Erasure will be among the performers taking part in the “Live At Home” event taking place on 12th September THIS YEAR. It is sure to be most, interesting with Vince being in New York and Andy in the UK! (further details HERE)

Being that Erasure has been around for thirty-five years. You will pretty much know what their tracks sound like. Therefore, there is no point in me speaking about that. Instead. With so much planned with their fans and the album release in mind. I am turning my attention to the music video instead. It is just as well that they went all out for the Brad Hammer directed, music video, for “Nerves of Steel.” They wanted it to be nothing less than their usual fabulous. Who better to call upon, than the queens of fabulous, some of the legendary stars of RuPaul’s Drag Race and a host of other LGBTQIA+ dignitaries. You don’t need me telling you how gorgeous these ladies look or how much they light up the screen. Needless to say for the occasion of making creative art for Erasure, the ladies glow up game has been taken to new levels of bedazzling. Shantay, they ALL stay!
