Florida, singer, songwriter and producer Kyle Denmead is off the starters blocks, showing us just how skilled he is in the arts of musicality and production. Kyle is currently readying the release of his debut EP “BÅD LØVË” and giving us a taster of what is to come via lead track “Lies”.
The route into music Kyle is taking is that of an alternative R’n’B perspective. A style, which for the most part, has become a largely common place to start out from for an increasing amount of emerging production-led acts.
“Lies” gives us some insight into Kyle’s crisp toned approach to production. There is no questioning his skills in this area, the fluidity, flow, and accomplishment are on-point and handled very well. On the whole, the overall vibe is smooth and gentle and rhythmically oscillating.
The track itself is about moving on from a relationship turned sour and not looking back, no matter how much the ex tries to get back with you. The accompanying video is reflective of the lyrics and picks up the story of post break-up, emotional healing. The scenario played out in the “Lies” video, starts at the point of wiping out every little memory and beginning the rebuilding process.
