Kadie Elder

Kadie Elder left an indelible imprint upon our discovery of the Danish electronic pop outfit in the circumstances of their simmering synth-pop release “First Time He Kissed A Boy”.

The effectively moving character of the song reflective of an LGBT themed relationship being forged not only acted to send out a positive message, the track positively shone out synth-pop radiance and memorably tuneful fueled melody out into the world.

The follow-up to FTHKAB has now arrived by way of “Kids On The Moon” and it heads-up the forthcoming debut EP which is imminently anticipated to make an appearance in the immediate coming weeks.

Ahh shucks looks like we’ll probably not be meeting Kadie Elder in one of their videos anytime soon, as it appears the band are favouring a continued rolling out of storyboard sourced social statement aware styled vignettes.

Further pointers that the video clip appears to be forming as part of a series come to light from the on-set with the initial focus being drawn to a variety of music cassette playing devices being loaded up. It’s all as if making a sub-statement isn’t? The one which reinforces easing your cares away by immersing yourself into the medium of music.

Kids On The Moon” tackles the issues of bullying and enforcing restraints at the sharp-end of a pair of heavy hands. And comes through as much in the style of “First Time He Kissed A Boy” whereby, the drama of the story set out in visuals and narrative is off-set on balance by a superb hit of 80’s vivid electronica forming another stunningly cohesive pop package.

With an EP on the way, we’re definitely looking forward to discovering even more of these nuggets of pop gold from Kadie Elder.
