Case in point: Belgium’s darkwave disruptors ULTRA SUNN, who continue to build serious momentum across Europe and North America while still feeling oddly under-recognised in the UK.
Fresh from celebrating their sophomore album “The Beast In You“, (the duo — vocalist and multi-instrumentalist Sam Huge and keyboardist/producer Gaelle Souflet), have carved out a reputation for intense, emotionally charged live performances. So it’s particularly curious that their recent European run largely bypassed the UK. Especially so, given how naturally their sound aligns with British alternative tastes.
